Biography
Hello, I'm Dave Laplander, otherwise known as "del". I work as a software systems engineer for a small Arizona university, which basically means I babysit web servers and I occasionally get to write code. This is my personal blog so I won't be posting much about work here.
Instead, you'll see a lot of pictures and text related to my various non-work interests and activities. The past few years those have gravitated towards wilderness exploration, hiking and backpacking, environmental issues and philosophy, and photography. This blog was originally started as a computer programming and technical stock trading blog so you'll see a little of that from time to time, too.
